The Delaware Veterans Coalition will host meetings in all three counties in conjunction with its fifth anniversary.

Veterans of all generations who reside in Delaware are welcome to attend regardless of membership and to bring a fellow veteran.

The meetings, all at 7 p.m., will be:

May 23 at Delaware Technical Community College’s Terry Campus, Dover; May 24 at DTCC’s Jack F. Owens Campus, 21179 College Drive, Georgetown;  May 25 at DTCC’s Stanton Campus, 400 Stanton-Christian Road, Newark.

The Veterans Coalition is a nonprofit, nonpartisan lobbying organization that works with elected officials and community leaders on issues affecting Delaware veterans. Although created to lobby at the state level, the coalition also regularly works with federal officials.

The coalition has a representative in each county and has engaged in many public activities, including lobbying for the creation of the Delaware Veterans Trust Fund, which was signed into law in 2013.
