UPDATE: Delaware State Police cancelled this Gold Alert on May 21. Mr. Kenetski was located.

The Delaware State Police issued a Gold Alert this morning for Lawrence Kenetski, 73, of Middletown.

Police said Kenetski hasn’t been heard from since about noon Thursday, after he left the Division of Motor Vehicles office at 2101 Mid County Drive, New Castle.

There is a concern for Kenetski’s safety because police haven't been able to contact him to check on his welfare, and attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.

Kenetski is a white male, 5-feet-8-inches tall, weighing 137 pounds, and has gray hair and blue eyes. He wears glasses. There is no clothing description available for Kenetski at this time.

He may be driving a green 2007 Hyundai Sonata with Delaware license plate 236274.

Police are asking anyone with information about Kenetski to call Troop 2 at 302-834-2620 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, or by going online at www.tipsubmit.com, or by sending an anonymous tip by text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword "DSP."
