Here are some fun events to dive into this weekend.

1. The Biggs Museum of American Art’s new photography exhibit features a wealth of stunning images that might make your eyes blush.

Biggs Shot 2016 is the museum’s fourth juried photography competition and exhibit featuring the work of professional and emerging photographers working and/or living in the Mid-Atlantic region. The exhibit offers a little bit of everything, from portraits and wildlife to sports and more.

A $1,500 prize will be awarded for best-in-show at the opening reception, 406 Federal St., in Dover from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday. COST Free. INFO biggsmuseum.org or call 674-2111.

2. A hilarious night of musical comedy will seduce the Milton Theatre, courtesy of Todd Chappelle and Hot Breakfast!

Chappelle is a comedy singer-songwriter who mixes silly originals and parodies.

Meanwhile, Hot Breakfast! is the acoustic dork-rock power duo. The pair features Jill Knapp and her powerhouse vocals, along with Matt Casarino’s witty songwriting and furious acoustic guitar work. Hot Breakfast! has no filter and serves up its brand of melodic comedy in well-done fashion.

The comedy night begins at the Milton Theatre, 210 Union St., in Milton at 8 p.m., Friday. COST $15 to $20. INFO pcade.com or call 684-3038.

3. One of the reasons Delaware is the Small Wonder is the unique Marshall Steam Museum.

It features the world’s largest operating collection of Stanley steam cars, a 1916 electric car and two 1930s Packards, and the Auburn Valley Railroad with its miniature coal-fired steam trains that circle the property.

This weekend the museum invites folks to its Steamin’ Day Birthday Bash for two of its rides: the Rauch & Lang electric car and Stanley Touring Model 725.

This Steamin’ Day only: anyone turning 100 years old in 2016, or older than 100 will receive free ride ticket for the day.

Steamin’ Day will get rolling at 3000 Creek Road, Yorklyn, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m., Saturday. COST $11 for ages 13 or older; $8 for 12 or younger. INFO auburnheights.org or call 239-2385.
