As a supporter of CSC, Doreen Holden, of Bridgewater, New Jersey, registered her team Carpe Diem to honor her sister, Georgette, who died to lung cancer in 2011.

“Cancer is real, and my life is forever changed. The services offered by the Cancer Support Community made a huge difference in our lives at a very difficult time.” said Doreen.

Proceeds support the Cancer Support Community Delaware’s mission to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action and sustained by community. An award ceremony will occur after the race.
