Susquehanna University student Samantha D'Amico, of Middletown, is studying at Florence University of the Arts this fall in Italy.

D'Amico is a communications-digital multimedia-broadcasting major in the class of 2018. The 2014 graduate of Padua Academy High School is the daughter of Patrick and Stephanie D'Amico.

Susquehanna has a Global Opportunities program, which requires all students to spend at least two weeks off campus in a culture different from their own. Currently, Susquehanna students can choose from study-away programs ranging from a few weeks to as long as a full semester semester in Africa, Asia, Australia, South America, Europe, New Orleans and Washington, D.C., among other options.
