The Delaware Agricultural Museum and Village will hold a Farmer's Christmas.
The Delaware Agricultural Museum and Village, 866 N. Dupont Highway, Dover, will hold a Farmer’s Christmas from 1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 3.
In the main building, young visitors can try their hand at various holiday crafts, including paper quilling, and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Guests can enjoy cider while they listen to various holiday musical performances or observe the artisans demonstrating their crafts.
Visitors can take a stroll down the Avenue of Trees and step back in time as they enter the authentic 1890s village. In the village, they will hear carolers singing traditional Christmas music; see a live nativity scene at the church; smell cookies baking in the farmhouse wood stove oven; watch a blacksmith work in the blacksmith shop and hear ghost stories being told at the train station.
