The field of candidates is set for the Middletown mayor and council elections in March.
In the race for mayor, incumbent Ken Branner Jr., who was first elected in 1989, will attempt to keep his seat for another two years. Branner has two opponents in this year’s election, James Meyers and David Wisniewski.
Five candidates will be running for three town council positions. All three incumbents have filed: Jason Faulkner, Drew Chas, and Howard Young Jr. They will be opposed by Maxwell Amoako and Christian Sterling Sutton. The top three in the voting will be elected to the council for two years.
The election will be held on Monday, March 6 from noon to 8 p.m., in the Town Hall Council Chambers, 19 W. Green St.
