The Cadets of Middletown High School Air Force JROTC competed in the Colonial Classic Drill and Colors Competition on March 4 at William Penn High School and won seven awards.

Middletown’s teams earned the following honors:

— First place in unarmed inspection, led by Cadet Master Sgt. Hanna Hutchins.

— First place in unarmed regulation drill, commanded by Cadet Lt. Col. Stephen Todd.

— Second place in armed regulation drill, commanded by Cadet Col. Alexander Arellano.

— Second place in armed color guard, commanded by Cadet Maj. Hunter Whitney

— Second place in armed exhibition drill, commanded by Cadet Maj. Alexis Ferguson.

— Second place in knockout drill was Cadet Maj. Maxwell Gick.

— Second place for best overall school.

"These outstanding and dedicated cadets deserve recognition for all of their hard work and a job well done,” said Chief Master Sgt. Michael Conway.
