Patrick Gallucci, commandant of First State Military Academy in Clayton, addressed the Delaware Veterans Coalition at its bimonthly meeting March 27.

Gallucci has been an educator for 23 years, teaching at three different schools before becoming commandant at FSMA, a tuition-free public charter high school in 2015. He was joined by retired Marine Corps Col. Robert Wallace, who serves as senior Marine instructor at FSMA.

Both spoke about the continued growth of the school and its focus on academics, citizenship, discipline, moral values and leadership to help students advance toward high school graduation and ensure each cadet is prepared for transition to post high school life.
