The Delaware Water Infrastructure Advisory Council will hold a public hearing and meeting at 9 a.m. April 19 in Conference Room 220, Kent County Administrative Complex, 555 South Bay Road, Dover.
The public hearing agenda will include an overview of the Draft Clean Water State Revolving Fund and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund project priority lists and intended use plans and public comments. Public record will remain open until May 22.
Council meeting agenda will include the council’s bond bill presentation and remarks, drinking water agreement overview for the town of Frankford and the president’s fiscal 2018 budget cuts for USDA, Rural Development.
New business will include DWSRF loan requests from the city of Wilmington for Transmission and Distribution Main Improvements Phase II and the city of Harrington for its Water Main, Storage Tower and Well Improvement Project; CWSRF loan requests from Sussex County for its Route 54 Septic System Elimination project; and the town of Laurel’s supplemental loan request for its Sixth Street stormwater project.
Other business will include Statewide Assessment of Wastewater Facilities update proposal; drinking water matching planning grant requests; clean water project planning advance request for the city of Newark; community water quality improvement grant requests; and surface water matching planning grant extension request.
