Waste Management has been delayed picking up the old trash and yard waste cans. The company will be picking up the cans this week (July 5) through the end of next week (July 14).

Middletown residents should have received new trash and recycling cans between June 19 and July 2. The town government asks that trash collection customers be patient about getting their old cans removed. Those cans should be leaved at the curb.

Keep your old recycling cans for yard waste, which will be picked up on Mondays.

Trash Tech is now collecting trash, recycling and yard waste in Middletown. Call Trash Tech with questions and concerns other than when old trash cans will be taken away. Phone number is (302) 832-8000.

As previously reported, Middletown customers will have their normal trash collection days on Tuesdays south of Main Street and Wednesdays north of Main Street, starting this month.

Recycling will be collected on Thursdays north of Main Street and Fridays south of Main Street.

Bulk items, including furniture and mattresses, will be picked up on trash day. Call ahead for bulk pick-up. Construction debris isn’t allowed.

Residents of the Estates of St. Anne’s will receive new yard waste cans in addition to trash and recycling cans to all 346 homes. The 55-and-older communities of Spring Mill, Spring Arbor and Deep Creek Legacy will receive 35-gallon cans.
