Delaware Transit Corp. will host DART’s Community Conversation from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 13 at Middletown Town Hall, 19 W. Green St., to provide feedback, share their experiences since DART’s recent service changes and offer suggestions on future changes.

Residents are encouraged to drop in and talk with DART representatives. Service proposals will be presented at public hearing workshops in March.

Topics of conversation will include existing DART services serving the Middletown area: Route 43 serving Odessa Park and Ride, Middletown Crossing Shopping Center, Middletown Village and Amazon; Route 47 between Wilmington, Dupont Highway and Amazon; and Route 302 service from Dover to Newark, serving Amazon. DART’s seasonal weekend service to the beach will stop in Middletown. DART is interested in getting input on how the services are meeting the needs of the community, including employees/employers, specifically the needed begin/end times of services, trip frequencies, locations served, etc.

For accommodations, such as an interpreter for the hearing impaired or a language translator, call 800-6523278, option 2, in advance.

For those unable to attend, feedback can be submitted through dartfirststate.com.
