The Delaware Historical Society will host “Experiencing World War I: America During the Great War” at 6 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Delaware History Museum, 504 N. Market St., Wilmington.

Jennifer Keene, chair of the Chapman University History Department, will examine homefront mobilization and the experiences of soldiers on the battlefield, while also considering how the war affected women, immigrants and African Americans.
