The Women’s Club of Odessa, a member of the Delaware State Federation of Women’s Clubs, is offering students residing in the Appoquinimink School District an opportunity to apply for one of four $2,500 scholarships for postsecondary education or career training.

Funding for the scholarships is made possible by the annual Christmas in Odessa Historic Home Tour.

Applications are available at the Appoquinimink Public Library, 651 N. Broad St., Suite 101, Middletown; the Corbit-Calloway Memorial Library, 115 High St., Odessa; and in the guidance offices of Appoquinimink High School, 1080 Bunker Hill Road, Middletown; Middletown High School, 120 Silver Lake Road; and MOT Charter High School, 1275 Cedar Lane Road, Middletown.

Students residing in the Appoquinimink School District and are planning to attend an institution of higher learning or career training for the 2019-20 school year are encouraged to apply.

Applications must be completed and postmarked by April 26. No late applications will be accepted. Applicants are encouraged to return their completed application to their guidance counselor or adviser by April 19 to allow adequate time to prepare the applicant’s transcript and fill out the counselor’s portion.
