The Historic Odessa Foundation will showcase students from Middletown High School’s Advanced Placement Studio Art Class in an exhibit April 5-28 in the Foundation’s Visitor’s Center Gallery, 201 Main St., Odessa.

An opening reception is set for 6 to 8 p.m. April 5.

Visitors will get a chance to see what these artists have accomplished in the past school year to complete their AP Senior Portfolios.

Each art student enrolled in Middletown High School’s AP Studio Art course is required to create a 24-piece portfolio by the end of their senior year. The art students have selected1 0 of their best art pieces for display with the advice of their art teacher Brianna Shetzler. Various mediums will be exhibited in the gallery including drawing, painting, fabric dye and cut paper.
