Renovations are nearly complete at the Brian Conley Veterans' Resiliency Center, 104 S. Broad St., Middletown, and a grand opening is set for 1 to 4 p.m. April 27, with the dedication ceremony at 1:30 p.m.

The Brian Conley Veteran Resiliency Center will be an educational, counseling and residential center for veterans and their families to receive assistance while reintegrating into society. It will help guide its clients in navigating through the Department of Veterans Affairs and military systems and the paperwork needed to receive services to which they are entitled. It will also provide a comprehensive list of programs to include case management, financial planning, job placement, counseling, job search, support groups, peer mentoring and classes including yoga, healthy cooking and meditation.

The center will house up to 16 homeless veterans on the second and third floors.
