New Castle County residents are encouraged to join County Executive Matt Meyer and county leaders for a series of community town halls beginning April 18 in Odessa.

During each town hall, Meyer will summarize his proposed fiscal 2020 budget and engage with residents about the local services they receive. Each community town hall will feature a brief informational presentation followed by a Q&A session. These events follow the recent release of the county executive’s proposed fiscal 2020 budget that builds on the historic success in public safety, improved public services and government efficiency achieved in over the past two years.

Spring community town halls will take place at 6:30 p.m. April 18 at Odessa Fire Hall, 304 Main St., Odessa; 6:30 p.m. April 24 at Brandywine Hundred Library, 1300 Foulk Road, Wilmington; 6:30 p.m. May 6 at Newark Free Library, 750 Library Ave.; and 6:30 p.m. May 13 at Route 9 Library and Innovation Center, 3022 New Castle Ave., New Castle.
