Susan Tudor, owner of Kiddie Academy of Middletown, recently received the Community Leader award at Kiddie Academy’s Annual Conference, held this month in San Diego, California.

Hundreds of franchisees from over 200 academies nationwide were considered for the award.

The Community Leader award recognizes Tudor for displaying key leadership characteristics within the Kiddie Academy system and within her local community. This includes participation on the Franchise Advisory Council or making a significant contribution to the Kiddie Academy community through mentoring and support to another franchisee or academy.

Winners were honored for their extensive contributions to the Kiddie Academy system by way of mentoring, leading and championing the brand’s key growth initiatives, according to President of Kiddie Academy Greg Helwig. Other common denominators among award recipients include excelling in the areas of profitability; ambassadorship of brand systems, standards and processes; customer service; staff motivation and retention; and community involvement.
