The Appoquinimink Board of Education approved the building names Nov. 10 for the new early childhood center near Brick Mill Elementary, the next K-12 campus expected on Summit Bridge Road and the elementary school on the campus.

The newest campus was named Summit Campus, similar to the road and airport it sits close to. To avoid the four schools from having the same name, the board voted to call the elementary school Crystal Run Elementary School because Crystal Run Drive is behind the future campus.

The ECC off Brick Mill Road will be called Brick Mill Early Childhood Center, bearing the same name as its neighboring elementary school.
