Veterans United Outreach of Delaware donates supplies

Veterans United Outreach of Delaware volunteers Destiny Haywood, Amy Snyder-Haywood and Outreach President Mike Snyder delivered on April 3 $500 in needed supplies to Warriors Helping Warriors’ Brian Conley Veteran Resiliency Center in Middletown.

The center is an educational, counseling and residential center for veterans and their families to receive support while reintegrating back into society after active duty.

The same day, Outreach team member Lewin “Smoke” Steele delivered $500 in gift cards for supplies to Victory Village on Port Penn Road, Middletown. Victory Village provides a home-like environment and offers personal and professional services designed to help all veterans.

Veterans United Outreach of Delaware Inc. is a nonprofit program that reaches out to veterans on educational, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. Beside financial support the Outreach Mobile Education Unit travels to community and veteran events across the state providing benefit and support information to Delaware vets and their families.
