Delaware Online Athlete of the Week nominees for Week 2 of fall season

Sophia Basler, Smyrna volleyball: Senior had 10 kills and 15 digs against Indian River and 19 kills and six digs against Cape Henlopen as the Eagles ran their record to 4-0.
Quinton Conway, Conrad football: Senior rushed for touchdowns of 1 and 15 yards and passed for scores of 64 and 16 yards in a 32-6 win over First State Military Academy.
Declan McDonnell, Tatnall track: Senior finished fifth in the Garden State Track Club High School Fall Showcase 5,000-meter run in 15:08.25, an unconfirmed Delaware record.
Cody Niggebrugge, Appoquinimink boys soccer: Senior had two goals and two assists in a 7-0 win over Hodgson, then had a goal in a 3-0 victory over Salesianum.
Megan Popp, Polytech field hockey: Junior had a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win over Lake Forest, then scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Dover.
